If you’ve been considering getting a Citi Bank credit card, you might be surprised to find just how many options there are. Between travel rewards cards, cash back cards, balance transfer cards, and so much more, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by your options.
One classic choice when it comes to credit cards is a cash back card. When you use these cards wisely, you can benefit from getting money back every time you make a purchase.
There are four Citi Cash Back Cards that you’ll want to look at if you want to benefit from rewards but aren’t interested in travel points.
Which of these cards is right for you? Let’s take a look at the different options.
Citi Double Cash Credit Card
One of the top Citi cash back cards is the Citi Double Cash Credit Card. With this card, you earn cash back twice. First, you earn 1% cash back when you make a purchase, and then you earn another 1% back when you pay off those purchases.
The Citi Double Cash APR for purchases is variable between 13.99% and 23.99% depending on your creditworthiness.
This card also offers an introductory 0% APR for balance transfers for eighteen months. Once the intro period is up, the variable APR is 13.99% and 23.99%, also dependent on your creditworthiness.
While there is an intro 0% APR for balance transfers, that doesn’t mean there isn’t a fee. It will cost either 3% of the amount of each transfer of $5, depending on which amount is greater.
It’s worth noting that you don’t earn cash back on balance transfers. You’ll also want to consider that your purchases will collect interest unless your entire balance, including balance transfers, is paid in full each month.
And what about the Citi Double Cash Card annual fee? One of the great things about this card is that there isn’t one.
Are you curious about the Citi Double Cash limit and what to expect when it comes to the line of credit you’ll be offered? According to WalletHub, the minimum you’ll be offered is $500 but it could be quite a bit more than that depending on your creditworthiness. Unfortunately, there is no maximum disclosed by Citi, but you can be certain that the higher your credit score is and the lower your debt to income ratio the higher credit limit you can expect.
Citi Custom Cash Card
The Citi Custom Cash Card adapts to your monthly spending. With this card, you can earn 5% cash back on what you buy in your highest eligible spend category. However, this reward is capped up to the $500 spent each billing cycle.
On top of that, you’ll receive an unlimited 1% cash back on all of the other purchases you make.
You can redeem your points in a number of different ways. You can get your cash back as a statement credit, as a direct deposit, or as a check. There are additional ways you can redeem your points including Shop with Points at Amazon.com, travel, and gift cards.
There’s also an introductory offer you can take advantage of. If you spend $750 on purchases in the first three months after you open the account, you can earn $200 cash back. For the first 15 months, you can also benefit from a 0% intro APR for both balance transfers and purchases.
